      Prima generație de Volkswagen T1 cu parbrizul din doua piese, numit informal Microbus, Splitscreen, sau Splittie printre fanii moderni, a fost produsă din 8 martie 1950 până la sfârșitul anului 1967. Între 1950 și 1956, T1 a fost construit în Wolfsburg, din 1956, a fost construit la fabrica complet noua  "Transporter" din Hanovra. Ca si la Beetle, primele Transportere folosit Volkswagen motor 1100 răcit cu aer, un 1131 cc, 18 kW (24 CP), motor racit cu aer in patru cilindri "boxer", montat în partea din spate.
      Producția germană a fost oprita in 1967, cu toate acestea, T1 a fost produs  în Brazilia până în 1975, când a primit un upgrade de la modelul deja existent T2-stil și a produs până în 1996.

 

      Macheta este produsa de Cararama, este ingrijit lucrata si respecta detaliile masinii reale. Chiar si interiorul se bucura de o atentie mai deosebita, fiind bine redat si frumos colorat, in ton cu masina.

 

 

 

      The first generation of the Volkswagen Type 2 with the split windshield, informally called the Microbus, Splitscreen, or Splittie among modern fans, was produced from 8 March 1950 through the end of the 1967 model year. From 1950 to 1956, the T1 was built in Wolfsburg; from 1956, it was built at the completely new Transporter factory in Hanover. Like the Beetle, the first Transporters used the 1100 Volkswagen air-cooled engine, an 1,131 cc, 18 kW (24 PS), air-cooled flat-four-cylinder 'boxer' engine mounted in the rear.

      German production stopped after the 1967 model year; however, the T1 still was made in Brazil until 1975, when it was modified with a 1968–79 T2-style front end, and big 1972-vintage taillights into the so-called "T1.5" and produced until 1996.

 

      The scale model is produced by Cararama  and is carefully worked and meets real car details. Even at the intrior you can find a higher degree of attention  and approptiate colored, in tune with the car.
