VOLKSWAGEN  TOUAREG  (2005)
Minichamps

      Volkswagen Touareg este un crossover de dimensiuni medii SUV produs de  producatorul german Volkswagen din 2002 la uzina Volkswagen din Bratislava. Vehiculul a fost numit după   Tuaregi, un trib berber din Africa de Nord.
       Touareg (desemnat intern Typ 7L) a fost un proiect joint-venture realizat de Volkswagen Group Audi, si Porsche. Scopul a fost de a crea un vehicul off-road, care ar putea fi folosit si ca  ca o masina sport. Echipa, cu peste 300 de persoane, a fost condus de Klaus-Gerhard Wolpert, și a avut cartierul general  in Weissach, Germania, sediul Porsche. Rezultatul proiectului comun este platforma Volkswagen  PL71, împărtășită de Touareg, Porsche Cayenne și Audi Q7, cu toate că există elemente de stil, echipamente și tehnică care diferențiaza dintre aceste vehicule. Touareg și Cayenne ambele cu cinci locuri, în timp ce ampatamentul extins al  Q7 poate găzdui un al treilea rând de scaune.Volkswagen Touareg este construit la uzina Volkswagen din Bratislava în Bratislava, Slovacia, alături de Audi Q7 si Porsche Cayenne.

       Modelul pe care il am în colecția mea este fabricat de Minichamps. Ca de obicei, nu sunt prea multe lucruri de spus ... aproape perfect.

     

 

 

      The Volkswagen Touareg is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by German automaker Volkswagen since 2002 at the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant. The vehicle was named after the Tuareg people, a Berber-speaking group in North Africa.

      The Touareg (internally designated Typ 7L) was a joint venture project developed by Volkswagen Group Audi, and Porsche. The goal was to create an off-road vehicle that could handle like a sports car. The team, with over 300 people, was led by Klaus-Gerhard Wolpert, and based in Porsche main base Weissach, Germany. The result of the joint project is the Volkswagen Group PL71 platform, shared by the Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, and Audi Q7, although there are styling, equipment, and technical differences between those vehicles. The Touareg and Cayenne both seat five, while the Q7's stretched wheelbase accommodates a third row for seven passengers. The Volkswagen Touareg is built at the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia, alongside the Audi Q7 and the Porsche Cayenne.

 

      The model that I have in my collection is manufactured by Minichamps. As usual, not too many things to say... almost perfect. Enjoy!

VOLKSWAGEN  PASAT  B5  Variant

      O noua versiune de Volkswagen Passat, bazat pe platforma B5 Volkswagen Sandra, a fost lansata în 1996 în Europa, și în 1997 în America de Nord. Platforma PL45 a fost împărtita cu prima generație "Typ 8D" Audi A4, care a fost lansata doi ani mai devreme, și s-a observat astfel o revenire la platforma modelului echivalent Passat-ului -   Audi pentru prima dată de la cea de-a doua generație (B2) Passat, care a împărtășit platforma sa de-a doua generație "Typ 81" Audi 80/Audi 90 (A4 este succesorul la 80 linia Audi).
      Passat a introdus un nou limbaj de design, prima data vazut la masina  Concept 1, pentru cea mai recentă generație de Volkswagen, cum ar fi Golf MK4, Bora și MK4 Polo. Liniile elegante, parbrize puternic curbate dau modelului   Passat un coeficient scăzut de rezistenta a aerului, evaluat la 0,27 (modelul berlină).

       Macheta din colecția mea este una low-cost, aceasta fiind cea mai bună opțiune pentru mine pana acum. Reprezinta un VW Passat B5 Variant - Asistenta Tehnica. Poate că voi încerca să adăug unele culori la interior.

 

 

       A new version of the Volkswagen Passat, based on the Volkswagen Group B5 Sandra platform, was launched in 1996 in Europe, and 1997 in North America. Its PL45 platform was shared with the first-generation "Typ 8D" Audi A4, which was unveiled 2 years earlier, and saw a return to the Passat sharing its platform with Audi's equivalent model for the first time since the second-generation (B2) Passat, which shared its platform with the second-generation "Typ 81" Audi 80/Audi 90 (the A4 is the successor to the Audi 80 line).

      The Passat introduced a new design language, first seen on the Concept 1 concept car, for the latest generation of Volkswagens such as the Mk4 Golf, Bora and Polo Mk4. The smooth lines, heavily raked windscreens, and smooth underpinnings helped give the B5 Passat a low coefficient of drag, rated at 0.27 (saloon model).

 

      The scale model from my collection is a low-cost one, but it is the best option for me untill now. Maybe I will try to add some colours to the interior.B5

VOLKSWAGEN  PASSAT B2  (1981-1988)

      A doua generație Volkswagen Passat a fost lansata în 1981. Platforma, numita B2, era putin mai lunga iar stilul actualizat al masinii  a fost recunoscut instantaneu ca un Passat, cu diferența cea mai evidentă fiind la faruri, care erau dreptunghiulare. În plus față de modelele Hatchback  și Variant (estate / vagon), a fost produs  de asemenea, un model in 3 volume, convențional, care până în 1985 facelift a fost vândut ca Volkswagen Santana  în Europa.
       La fel ca generația anterioară, Passat B2  a fost vândut în principal cu motoare pe benzină și diesel cu patru cilindri.
      B2 Santana este încă în producție în China.

      Macheta este produsa de IXO pentru De Agostini Polonia. Corect reprodusa, fără  detalii de interior, merita achizitionata doar pentru că este mai ieftina decât alte opțiuni de la producatori cu nume.

      The second generation Volkswagen Passat was launched in 1981. The platform, named B2, was slightly longer and the car's updated styling was instantly recognisable as a Passat, with the most obvious difference being the rectangular headlights. In addition to the Passat hatchbacks and Variants (estate/wagon), there was also a conventional three-box saloon, which until the 1985 facelift was sold as the Volkswagen Santana in Europe.

      Like the previous generation, the B2 Passat was mainly sold with four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

      The B2 Santana is still in production in China.

 

      The model car is produced by IXO for De Agostini Poland. Correctly reproduced, without any interior details, it worth having it just because it is way cheaper than other options from important manufacturers.

VOLKSWAGEN  PASSAT B7

      VW Passat  B6 a fost redesenat de Klaus Bischoff și Walter de Silva, și a fost prezentat la Paris Motor Show în septembrie 2009. Deși redenumit  "B7", masina nu este un model complet nou. Facelift-ul s-a limitat la noi  panouri externe ale caroseriei, excepție facand  cupola si geamurile, cu proeminente schimbări în grila frontala si la faruri. Înălțimea și lățimea totală dimensiunile sunt neschimbate fata de B6 Passat, în timp ce lungimea crește cu 4 mm. Noile caracteristici includ un sistem de detectare a oboselii soferului și un  sistem automat  de "frânare de urgență" in oras. Modelul a ajuns la dealeri în ianuarie 2010.
      Interiorul prezenta modificări minore comparativ cu B6, deși tabloul de bord  rămâne neschimbat.

       Macheta este produsa de Schuco, la standarde ridicate și nivel de detalii similar cu Minichamps .

      The VW B6 Passat was facelifted by Klaus Bischoff and Walter de Silva, and was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 2009. Although designated "B7", the car is not an all-new model. The facelift resulted in new external body panels except for the roof and glasshouse, with the prominent changes to the grille and headlights. Overall height and width dimensions are unchanged from the B6 Passat, while length increases by 4 mm. New features include a fatigue detection system and an automatic "city emergency braking" system. It arrived at dealerships in January 2010.

      The interior featured minor detail changes from the B6, although the basic dashboard design remain unchanged.

 

      The scale modell is produced by Schuco, with similar high-standards and level of details as Minichamps.

      B6 Passat a fost prezentat pentru prima dată la Geneva Motor Show in martie 2005, si lansat in Europa in vara anului 2005. Spre deosebire de predecesorul său, B6 Passat nu mai imparte platforma sa cu modelul echivalent Audi (Audi A4). Bazat pe o versiune modificata a platformei Golf Mk5 -  PQ46, B6 prezinta mai degrabă un aspect transversal al motorului, comparativ cu plasamentul longitundinal al motorului de la predecesorul său, la fel ca  generațiile B3 și B4 , care au fost legate de platforma A2 (Golf) .

       Replica la scara este produsa de Minichamps. Nimic de adăugat legat de calitate ... Standarde foarte ridicate, ca întotdeauna.

      The B6 Passat was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005, and launched in Europe in the summer of 2005. Unlike its predecessor, the B6 Passat no longer shared its platform with Audi's equivalent model (the Audi A4). Based on a modified version of the Mk5 Golf's PQ46 platform, the B6 featured a transverse rather than longitundinal engine layout of its predecessor, like the previous B3 and B4 generations, which were related to the A2 (Golf) platform.

 

      The scale replica is produced by Minichamps. Nothing to add regarding the quality... Very high standards, as always.

VOLKSWAGEN  JETTA  A5 (2005-2010)

      A cincea generație de JETTA a debutat la Los Angeles , la Salonul Auto din 5 ianuarie 2005. Acesta a fost doar al doilea produs Volkswagen care si-a facut debutul mondial la un show auto din SUA (celălalt fiind New Beetle). Mai mult, Mark 5 Saloon / sedan a fost scos pe piata  în SUA înainte de orice altă țară, reflectând importanța mașinii  pentru piața americana. 800 de milioane de dolari au fost cheltuite pentru modernizarea fabricii din Puebla (Mexic). Aceasta a inclus o linie de productie noua pentru motoare in 5 cilindri, de  290 de milioane de dolari, o investiție de 50 de milioane de dolari în ateliere de presare, precum și o achiziție de 460 de roboți in valoare de 200 milioane dolari SUA, care a crescut gradul de automatizare cu 80%.

      Macheta este produsa de Minichamps, iar acest lucru este garantia calitatii. Este super !...

      The fifth generation of JETTA debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 5 January 2005. It was only the second Volkswagen product to make its world debut at a U.S. Auto show (the other being the New Beetle).  Furthermore, the Mark 5 saloon/sedan went on sale in the USA prior to any other country, reflecting the importance of the car in that market for Volkswagen.US$ 800 million was spent upgrading the factory in Puebla (Mexico) for its production. This included a US$ 290 million new engine production line for the 5-cylinder power plant, a US$50 million investment in the press shop, as well as a US$ 200 million purchase of 460 robots, which increased automation by 80%.

 

The scale model is produced by Minichamps, and this equals quality. It looks awesome... Just enjoy!

VOLKSWAGEN  GOLF 5  Variant (2009)

      In 2007 la  Salonul International Auto din New York , Volkswagen a aparut cu o versiune break numit Jetta Sportwagen.
      Sportwagen are un volum util de incarcare  de 930 de litri cu scaunele din spate ridicate, sau 1894 litri cu scaunele rabatate. O opțiune unică este trapa panoramică. Acoperișul are disponibili 1,18 metri patrati de zona vitrata, oferind pasagerilor din fata si din spate o vedere expansiva.
       Un model similar este vândut ca Golf Variant in cele mai multe piete din afara Statelor Unite. În Mexic, este vândut ca Sportwagen Bora și mai târziu Golf Sportwagen cu un facelift frontal, Jetta Variant în Brazilia, Vento Variant în Argentina, Jetta Wagon în Canada (doar in 2009), Golf Wagon în Canada (începând cu 2010), și Golf Estate în Marea Britanie.

      Macheta este foarte bine realizata de Autoart, cu putine lucruri de criticat. Interior si exterior detaliat, culoare adecvată, etc.  Merita din plin sa fie in colectia oricui.

 

 

     

      At the 2007 New York International Auto Show, Volkswagen unveiled a station wagon version dubbed the Jetta SportWagen.

      The SportWagen has 930 litres of cargo space with the rear seats upright, or 1,894 litres with the seats folded. One unique option is a panoramic sunroof. The available roof is a full 1.18 square metres in area, giving both front and rear seat passengers an expansive view of the sky.

      A similar model is sold as the Golf Variant in most markets outside the United States. In Mexico it is sold as the Bora Sportwagen and later Golf SportWagen with front fascia updates, Jetta Variant in Brazil, Vento Variant in Argentina, Jetta Wagon in Canada (2009 only), Golf Wagon in Canada (2010 onwards), and Golf Estate in the United Kingdom.

      The scale model is very well done by autoart, not to many things to criticize. Detailed interior and exterior, adequate colour, etc.  Fully worth having it.
