MERCEDES  300 D - W189 Adenauer (1957)

 

 Mercedes Collection - IXO

      Mercedes-Benz 300 (coduri de șasiu W186, W188, W189) au fost cele  mai mari și mai prestigioase modele ale companiei de-a lungul anilor 1950. La fel ca si modelul de top de astăzi S-Class, modelele 300  au fost elegante, puternice, exclusive, și foarte scumpe.
       Modelele 300D (cod șasiu 189) au fost adesea denumite "Adenauer" după Konrad Adenauer, primul cancelar al Republicii Federale Germania. În mandatul sau dintre 1949-1963, el a achizitionat șase convertibile personalizate, hardtop și landaulet.
       Aceste masini de lux, aveau multe opțiuni de lux, cum ar fi radio Becker,  telefon mobil VHF, și mașină de dictare, oferite oamenilor de afaceri și politicienilor. Printre caracteristici speciale în aceste "mașini de parada" ale cancelarului Adenauer erau birouri de scris, sirene, perdele, paravane de separare, trape, și configurații landaulet.
       Introdus în luna august 1957, 300D a fost succesorul lui 300C, cu un ampatament mai lung, injecție de combustibil, și configurație unica de  hardtop, transformându-se într-un Phaeton fara stalpi.

       Modelul (ca multe dintre cele pe care le  am), este produs de  IXO, pentru Mercedes Collection. Așa cum ne-am obisnuit, IXO ne ofera produse foarte bune pentru un model de revistă. Curat și atent asamblat, cu toate detaliile necesare la exterior și interior, modelul merita sa fie cumpărat.

      The Mercedes-Benz Type 300 (chassis codes W186, W188, and W189) were the company's largest and most-prestigious models throughout the 1950s. Analogous to the top of today's S-Class, the Type 300 cars were elegant, powerful, exclusive, and expensive.

      The 300d (chassis code 189) models were often referred to as Adenauers after Konrad Adenauer, the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. In office from 1949 to 1963, he employed six custom convertible, hardtop, and landaulet versions during his tenure.

      These large saloons and cabriolets incorporated many luxury features. Options such as Becker radio, VHF mobile telephone, and dictation machine were geared to the business man and politician. Among the custom features in Chancellor Adenauer's "parade cars" were writing desks, sirens, curtains, dividing partitions, sunroofs, and half-roof landaulet configurations.

      Introduced in August 1957, the 300d was the linear successor to the 300c, with a longer wheelbase, fuel injection, and unique hardtop configuration transforming it into a pillarless phaeton.
